-Millions of neighbors take part in National Night Out across thousands of communities from all fifty states, U.S. territories and military bases worldwide on the first Tuesday in August. Neighborhoods host block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and various other community events with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel, exhibits and much, much more.
We are proud to come together each year to bring the residents of the Oronoco the community together! Join us Tuesday August 5th, 2025 for National Night Out from 4pm-7pm on the lawn at Oronoco City Hall! All community members, City and TWP are invited! Activities, Fire Trucks, Bounce house, face painting with brats/dogs, chips, cookies and beverages served up at the Fire Hall! Visit with your local entities & council members, Oronoco Lions Club, Oronoco Area History Center, VFW #9647, Oronoco Age Friendly and more! This is also your opportunity to register to volunteer for Downtown Oronoco Gold Rush Days or buy a Duck for this summers Zumbro River DUCK DERBY RACE! A special visit from the Olmsted County Sheriff's Department and K-9 unit is also a feature at our annual gathering!
