Our Mission

The ERC’s mission is to cultivate a work environment where employees feel supported, empowered, and inspired to contribute to the long-term success of our city.

What We Do

The ERC serves as an advisory body to the City Council, focusing on five key areas:

  • Employee Relations: Fostering a positive workplace culture that celebrates diversity and addresses concerns effectively.
  • Performance Management: Encouraging professional growth through structured feedback and recognition programs.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Ensuring competitive pay and benefits to attract and retain exceptional employees.
  • Policy Development: Crafting and updating HR policies to meet the evolving needs of our workforce.
