Fishing in Oronoco begins below the dam at Allis Park. Commonly caught species include carp, suckers, catfish, silver bass, and smallmouth bass on occasion. This area is protected by the bridge on rainy days and is very conducive to a relaxing outing close to home for kids and adults alike. Four miles to the east, Lake Zumbro offers a wider variety of game fish from boat or shore as well as recreational boating opportunities.
