Drop your canoe into Lake Shady at Allis Park and spend an hour or an afternoon paddling around the Lake. If you want more canoeing, put in below the Oronoco Dam and paddle the 8 miles downstream to Lake Zumbro and the public landing adjacent to the County 12 Bridge. If you still want more you can put your canoe into South Branch of the Zumbro River at the County 14 Bridge in Genoa or further upstream at Oxbow County Park and paddle downstream to Lake Shady or follow the North Branch of the Zumbro River from Pine Island to Lake Shady.
