City Staff

The City of Oronoco has a small staff. We have a Full Time City Clerk/Treasurer, Part Time Assistant Clerk and a Full Time Maintainence / Groundskeeper. We contract our engineering services to Bonestroo Rosene Anderlik & Associaties. Our City Attorney is Fred Suhler and our City Auditor is Tom Cummings.

City Clerk Sandy Jessen has been with our City since late October 2004. Her office hours are 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. She is married to Mark Jessen and has two boys Jordan and Kenzie, Jordan is a sophmore at the U of MN and Kenzie is a junior at Pine Island High School. She has three cats Charlie, Sam, and Willow.

Our Maintenance/Groundskeeper is Timothy Redepenning. Tim began working for the City of Oronoco on May 21, 2007. Tim does woodworking at home. He lives with his wife Lisa, baby girl Riley Mae and 2 Black Labs in rural Mazeppa.

Assistant Clerk Lynn started working at City Hall since July 2008. Lynn works 20 hours per week. Lynn is married to Gann Karsten and two children Anna; age 10, and John; age 8. They also have a spoiled yellow lab named Sadie May.
