Hi -- see below.

1.  Discuss the Vallew View trail access with the adjacent landowners.

        a. Novak's landscaping

        b. Future use

        c. Deliniate the trail from the homeowners

>>  Tom Novak (homeowner) was present for the meeting.  The Board and Mr. Novak reached agreement on the trail plan and movement of landscaping.  Mr. Novak expressed concerns about the grade of the trail and potential liability on his property.  The Synders were not present for this meeting.

2.  2008 budget.  ( I will have Cheryl place the budget in the room)

>>  No 2008 budget was provided to the Park Board.

3. Canoe access.

Land has been surveyed and marked, still hoping for a fall install.

4. Discuss devices to block trail access in Riverwood Hills.

>>  Adam has talked with Dan Strobel.  Seems like the problem is limited to Dan Fitzpatrick's crews.  Now that his access is repaired the problem seems to be less.  Continue to evaluate the need for devices.

5)  Soccer Goals

>>  Nets are torn at Riverwood Hills Soccer Goals.  Recommendation to hold off until spring, then replace with more industrial soccer goals and nets and move this set (with new nets) to downtown.  Noted a large number of people, including two teams, using the soccer field.

6)  Signs

>>  Park Board recommends installing signs that match the trail markers for directional signs to parks.  Cost approx. $55 each.

5. Other....
